Chief Commercial Officer

Phil Sofia is the Chief Commercial Officer at DCM Insights, where he oversees sales, client relationship management, and marketing, driving the company's commercial strategy and growth. With a proven track record in commercial leadership, Phil most recently built and led Everlaw’s in-house legal business segment.  

Previously, he served as VP of Sales at SquareFoot, a commercial real estate startup, and as President of SHC Global, later acquired by Apollo Intelligence. Phil spent over six years at Gerson Lehrman Group in New York and London, where he managed the Life Sciences vertical globally and launched the Corporations business in Europe. Earlier in his career, he held North American sales leadership roles at The Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner) for nearly a decade.  

Phil’s extensive experience spans industries, including professional services, technology, real estate and life sciences, reflecting his ability to build and lead businesses across diverse environments.  

Phil holds an MBA from the Stern School at NYU and a BA in Philosophy from Colgate University. He lives in Westchester County in New York with his wife and two sons.
